Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural theme park with an evening show, is 2.3 km away, and Patong Beach, the busiest resort beach on the island, is 7.9 km away. For nightlife and restaurants, Patong is the main choice, and the Bang Tao Night Market is also nearby.

The Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hill, is 16.9 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the most visited temples in Phuket, is a good stop for a morning. A day can combine a temple visit, a swim at one of the island's beaches and an evening in Patong. The hotel is 200 m from Surin Beach, and the bigger attractions on the island are reached by road, so a taxi or a private car is the practical choice for longer trips.
