Sunglobe Resort

Sunglobe Resort has rooms with a pool view and rooms with a garden view, and several of them sleep up to four guests. Some of the pool view and garden view rooms have one double bed and sleep up to two guests.

Sunglobe Resort is reached by boat, so the last stage of any journey to it is by water, and the crossing is part of the trip.

Thakow Waterfall is 2.5 km from the resort, and Tha Kai pier, a ferry terminal, is 2.1 km away. Both make a good first outing for anyone who wants to see the island beyond the resort grounds, and the pier is the place to watch boats coming and going across the bay. Phuket's better-known sights, such as Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), Big Buddha and Patong Beach, are on the main island and take longer to reach.

Phuket International Airport is 32.9 km from the resort, on Phuket, so the trip from there ends with a crossing to the island. Krabi International Airport, 41.5 km away, is on the mainland. A relaxed day can combine a visit to Thakow Waterfall with an afternoon at the solarium and a massage back at the resort, where the front desk is open around the clock.
