Sundiva Guest House

Sundiva Guest House offers private rooms and shared dormitory beds in mixed-gender rooms. The private rooms have queen beds, and the 25 m² double room has a balcony, a private bathroom and heating.

Some rooms have a city view and others have a balcony or terrace. Bunk and single beds are used in the dormitory rooms, and one of the dormitory rooms has air conditioning as well as a city view.

The hostel has a bar and billiards, and Internet services are offered. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is Wi-Fi in the public areas too.

Check-in runs from 14:00 to 23:00, and check-out is until 11:00. Guests must be at least 18 years old, and the property does not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Patong is the busiest beach town on Phuket, a long bay lined with hotels, bars, shops and restaurants. Sundiva Guest House is in the town, with Patong Beach 400 m away. The area suits guests who want nightlife and plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. Its bars, restaurants and shops are spread along the main roads, so most things are a short walk away.

Bangla Road, the street known for its nightlife, is 1 km away, and Kalim Beach is 1.1 km from the hostel. The Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 7.2 km away and is one of the most important temples on the island, while the Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hilltop, is 8.3 km away. Walking covers the beach and the bars, but the temples and the Big Buddha are easier to reach by taxi or songthaew.

A good day out is to combine the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, then spend the afternoon on Kata Beach, a short drive away. Back in Patong, the evening is spent around Bangla Road and the night market, close by. Phuket International Airport is also on the island, so the trip from the airport needs no ferry, and Karon Beach is reached by road.
