Sundiva

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms at Sundiva, and the hostel offers a double room as well as mixed dormitories. The double room measures 25 m² and sleeps two guests, while the mixed dormitories measure 30 m² and sleep up to eight guests each.

Patong is one of Phuket's best-known resort towns, on the Andaman Sea coast, and Sundiva is on Rat Uthit Song Roi Pi Road, with Patong Beach about 400 m away. The beach is a long stretch of sand, with restaurants and bars on the streets close to it, and the district stays busy into the evening. Visitors come for the beach, the restaurants and the nightlife, and the streets near the sand are lively in the evening. Phuket International Airport is 23.3 km away.

Bangla Road, Patong's nightlife street, is 1,000 m away, lined with bars and clubs and busy after dark. Kalim Beach is a quieter stretch of sand next to Patong, and the Banzaan night market has street-food stalls and fresh produce nearby.

A day out could take in the Big Buddha, a hilltop statue 8.3 km away with wide views over the island, and then Wat Chalong, the most revered Buddhist temple on Phuket, 7.2 km away. Songthaews are a common way to get around Patong, and both sites are reached by road. Back in Patong, the Banzaan night market, with its street-food stalls, is a good place for an evening meal after a day out, and Patong Beach is close by for a walk once the sun goes down.
