Sun Inn

The rooms at Sun Inn share a city view and air conditioning, and they measure between 20 and 33 m². Every room has a queen bed, and the Triple Room with Balcony has a single bed as well, sleeping up to three guests.

The Standard, Superior and Deluxe Queen Rooms each sleep two guests and have a separate shower and bathtub. Every room has a private bathroom, and soundproofing is fitted in the Standard Queen Room and the Triple Room with Balcony. Every room has a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels and a telephone. The Triple Room with Balcony measures 33 m² and sleeps up to three guests.

Sun Inn has a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping and 24-hour security, and the hotel also runs a laundromat. An elevator serves the building, and English and Thai are spoken.

Sun Inn is on Karnjanavanit Soi 7 in the Mueang Songkhla district, in the provincial town of Songkhla on the Gulf coast of southern Thailand. The area mixes streets of old shophouses, a fish market and a sandy beach, so a stay here is a town stay rather than a resort stay. The old town, the fish market and the beach are all within a few kilometres of the hotel.

Samila Beach, 3.7 km away, is known for its mermaid statue, and Songkhla Old Town is 3.5 km from the hotel, where the old streets are the main draw. The Songkhla Fish Market, 2.7 km away, sells fresh seafood, and the Songkhla National Museum covers the history and culture of the region. Hat Yai International Airport is 35.4 km away, and the town is reached by road. The Songkhla Zoo and Songkhla City Park are also a short distance from the hotel.

A day could start at the fish market, continue through the old town streets, and end on Samila Beach. If you have more time, the national museum and the zoo are worth a visit as well, and the city park is a green stop between them. Stays of a few nights leave room for both the old town and the beach.
