Summer Breeze Inn

The rooms at Summer Breeze Inn come in several layouts, with double beds, a king bed and bunk beds. Some rooms have a country view, others a city view, and one has a balcony or terrace. Rooms can have air conditioning, a shower, toiletries, a desk and a mini bar, and free WiFi is available in all rooms.

Rooms sleep two, three or four guests, depending on the room. Some have a seating area, blackout curtains or a hair dryer in the bathroom, and the rooms are kept with daily housekeeping. The Superior Family Room has a double bed and a bunk bed, and the Albatross comes with a choice of bed set-ups.

Life here is quieter than on the coast, and the town is a good place to see the island's history.

Phuket International Airport is 30.1 km away, and Phuket is joined to the mainland by a bridge, so the drive from the airport is by road. Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is 4.2 km away, one of the island's most revered temples, and Big Buddha Phuket, on a hilltop above the island, is 7.2 km away. The beaches of Karon and Kata are about 9 km away, and a local market is only 950 m from the inn.

A good day starts in the old town, with the Baan Chinpracha museum and the Sino-Portuguese streets around it, then continues to Wat Chalong and Big Buddha in the afternoon. Phuket Town is compact enough to explore on foot, and the old town's shophouses line many of its streets. The evening can end at the beaches of Karon and Kata, reached by a short drive from town.
