Suanvadee Resort

Several rooms at Suanvadee Resort measure 16 m², and the Family Room and the Standard Quadruple Room measure 35 m² each. Most rooms look onto the garden, and they come with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, an electric kettle, and a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries.

Beds are king, queen and single: the 16 m² rooms have either a king bed or two single beds, and the 35 m² rooms have two queen beds each. The Family Room sleeps up to four guests, one room sleeps up to three, and the rest sleep two. Extra beds depend on the room you choose.

Suanvadee Resort is in Don Sak, a mainland district of Surat Thani province in southern Thailand, and the district is best known as the departure point for boats to the islands. Surat Thani, the provincial capital, is the main town of the province and lies further inland. The setting around the resort is quiet, with its own garden close at hand.

Nangkam Beach is the nearest beach, 2.7 km away, and the Seatran Ferry Pier is 3.5 km away. Wat Wisutthi Chararam (Wat Ban Nam Chued), a pagoda, is also about 2.7 km away. Samui Airport, 44.5 km away, lies on Koh Samui across the water, so reaching it means a boat crossing, while Surat Thani Airport is 69 km away on the mainland.

For a day out, Nangkam Beach is the nearest place to spend a few hours, and the ferry pier is the starting point for a boat trip to the islands. A day can combine a walk through the garden, a salon treatment and a trip to the beach, with the resort as a base for travelling by sea. The nearby pagoda and the pier at Donsak complete the rest of a day spent around the ferries.
