Every room at Stay White Orchid measures 32 m², and the choice runs from standard and deluxe rooms to studios. Several rooms have a partial sea view, and some have air conditioning or a kitchenette, with towels and linens provided in many rooms.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and many rooms have a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, a hair dryer and a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries. Some rooms sleep up to three guests. Stay White Orchid is in Klong Muang, a stretch of Krabi's coast where the pace is calmer than in Ao Nang, the busier resort area nearby. The beach is 210 m from the property, and Krabi International Airport, 25.7 km away, is the nearest airport, and it is on the mainland, so the coast is reached by road from it.

Ao Nang, 7.5 km away, is the main resort area of the coast, with a wider choice of shops and places to eat. Railay Beach, with its limestone cliffs, is reached by longtail boat rather than by road. Klong Muang Beach and Koh Kwang Beach are a few hundred metres from the guesthouse, and the Klong Muang Sunday and Tuesday Market takes place close by.

A good day can start on the sand at Klong Muang and continue by boat to Tup Island or Poda Island. In the rainy season the sea can be rough, so boat trips may be cancelled. For a stop on land, the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 20.5 km away, is a hillside temple complex with shrines and caves. Further inland, the Emerald Pool (Sa Morakot), a natural pool among forested hills, is 58.7 km away for a longer trip.
