Southern Lanta Resort

The rooms at Southern Lanta Resort range from standard rooms with a garden view to a superior bungalow and a 65 m² family house that sleeps up to five guests. Two suites have sea views, and bed set-ups vary from room to room. Garden-view rooms look onto the resort's gardens.

The resort's own garden and its outdoor and indoor pools mean there is plenty to do without leaving the grounds. The resort lies within walking distance of the beach, so a swim is never far away.

Kantiang Bay is about 1 km away, and Sala Dan Pier, the ferry terminal on the island, is 1.8 km away. Long Beach, another stretch of sand on Koh Lanta, is also within a short journey. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a marine national park, is 20 km away and offers a longer day out. Krabi International Airport is 51.6 km away on the mainland, and the boat from there is the last stage of the trip to the island.

A day could begin with a swim at the resort, continue to Kantiang Bay and end at the Sala Dan Pier, the island's ferry terminal. Mu Ko Lanta National Park suits a longer excursion from the resort.
