Southern Lanta Apartments

Every apartment at Southern Lanta Apartments has air conditioning, a full kitchen and a balcony or terrace, and a baby cot is available on request. Both apartment types measure 75 m² and sleep up to five guests.

The Studio Apartment has a double bed, two sofa beds and a bunk bed, with a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The Two-Bedroom Apartment with View has a private pool and a private bathroom, with a choice of bed set-ups.

The apartments are on Klong Dao Beach, a sandy stretch of coast on Koh Lanta, an island in Krabi province in southern Thailand. The sand is close by, and the area keeps a relaxed village feel, with small shops and eateries along the roads behind the beach. Koh Lanta is an island, so getting there means a boat from the mainland, and the village life around the bay moves at an easy pace.

Kantiang Bay, 850 m away, is a sheltered bay with a sandy beach, and Long Beach, 1.8 km away, is a long stretch of sand that runs along the coast. Further afield, Khao Mai Kaew Cave, 12.3 km away, is a limestone cave with stalactites and rock formations inside it, and the marine national park of Mu Ko Lanta covers islands, beaches and mangroves around the island. Krabi International Airport is 51.6 km away on the mainland.

A good day could begin with a swim at Klong Dao Beach, the closest sand to the apartments, then continue to Kantiang Bay and Long Beach, and end with a visit to Lanta Old Town in the afternoon.Ko Raeng can only be reached at low tide, so a trip there depends on the tide.
