Smile Bungalows

The rooms at Smile Bungalows include a 23 m² Family Bungalow with a garden view, a 50 m² Family Superior with a beach view and a 175 m² Bar Room with two double beds and a beach view. The 86 m² Villa has a separate living room and a balcony or terrace, and the Two-Bedroom Villa offers a choice of bed set-ups.

Several rooms have a fan, a mosquito net and daily housekeeping, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Some rooms have a desk, a television or a telephone, and the Family Superior can sleep up to five guests.

The grounds include a garden, a private beach, a playground and a game room, and there are massage and barbecue facilities. Activities include snorkelling, canoeing, diving, fishing, hiking and non-motorised water sports, and tours can be arranged.

For meals, the property has a halal restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop and a snack bar, and room service is also available. Halal breakfast is offered too. Smile Bungalows is on Bottle Beach, also known as Hat Khuat, on the coast of Ko Pha-ngan in the Gulf of Thailand. Around it, the island mixes small bays with hillside paths and forest, and the longer beach at Ao Thong Nai Pan Yai is one of the island's better-known stretches of sand. Here the sea and the hills are close together, and the walk between them is short.

Hat Khuat is the beach beside the property, and the Rock viewpoint is 1.3 km away. Inland, the Than Prawet waterfall lies in the hills, and Wat Chaloklum, a temple in Chaloklum village, is 3.3 km away. Ko Pha-ngan is an island, so the trip from Samui Airport, 27.4 km away on the neighbouring Ko Samui, ends with a boat crossing. Once on the island, the property offers a shuttle service and a taxi service.

A full day can start on the property's own private beach, then take in Wat Chaloklum and the Than Prawet waterfall. The property also offers snorkelling, canoeing, diving, fishing and hiking, and tours can be arranged for trips further afield. Further off, the Guanyin monument is 4.1 km away and the Phangan Safari zoo is 5.1 km away.
