SM Resort

The rooms at SM Resort run from the Deluxe Room and the Superior Room, both 35 m², to the Sweet Suite Room, which measures 40 m² and has a mountain view. Several rooms sleep up to five guests, including the Twin Superior Capacity 4 and the Double Deluxe Capacity 4.

The Suite, the Sweet Suite with its king bed and the Deluxe Double Room, which measures 35 m², are also among the rooms here. Equipment includes telephones, air conditioning and a coffee and tea maker, depending on the room.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, plus a spa with a sauna, a massage service and a garden. Guests can eat at the restaurants, have a drink at the bar or order from the 24-hour room service, and a coffee shop is on site.

For getting around, there is an airport transfer and a shuttle service, car hire is available and tours are offered. A concierge and ticket services are also available, and the front desk is staffed around the clock.

Practical extras include laundry, luggage storage, currency exchange and daily housekeeping. The property is wheelchair accessible, with an elevator and facilities for disabled guests, and Wi-Fi is available for a daily fee.

SM Resort is in Patong, the busiest beach town on Phuket, where hotels, restaurants and nightlife line the streets behind the sand. Visitors come for the beach, the shopping and the evening entertainment, and the resort is part of that lively streetscape. Phuket is the largest island in Thailand and is linked to the mainland by a bridge, so visitors reach the island by road or by air.

Patong Beach, the town's main stretch of sand, is 900 m from the resort, with restaurants and bars along the road behind it. The Dragon night market, with its food stalls and shops, is 650 m away, and Malin Plaza, a shopping plaza with restaurants and shops, is also close by. The Chinese Temple sits in the same part of town, and Bangla Road, the town's nightlife street, is also in Patong.

For a different kind of day, Big Buddha Phuket, the large white seated Buddha on a hill 6.1 km away, is worth a visit, and Freedom Beach, a small beach 1.7 km away, makes a change from the busy sand. Phuket International Airport is 26 km away, and the resort offers an airport transfer, while Phuket Old Town, with its Sino-Portuguese shophouses, is reached by road from Patong.
