Sleep at Phuket

Rooms at Sleep at Phuket are either air-conditioned or fan-cooled, and several measure 20 m². Guests can choose from rooms that sleep between two and seven guests, including a connecting room for families or groups who want to stay side by side.

The guesthouse's shared lounge and TV area gives guests a place to meet other travellers between days out in the town.

Guests can eat on site at the restaurant and the coffee shop, room service is available, and a Continental breakfast is served. Breakfast can also be taken in the room, and there is a vending machine. Food delivery is offered as well.

The front desk is open 24 hours, and English and Thai are spoken. Tours can be arranged, and car hire, a taxi service, bicycle rental, luggage storage and a concierge are also offered. A convenience store and a laundry service are available, and daily housekeeping is provided.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Parking is free on site, and the air conditioning extends to the public areas. Facilities for guests with disabilities are available.

Montri Road runs through Phuket Town, the administrative centre of Phuket, where many of the older streets still have Sino-Portuguese shophouses. The area suits people who want to spend their time in town rather than on the beach, and the main beaches are reached by road rather than on foot. Walking is the easiest way to see the older buildings and the small museums that sit close together along the streets. Many of the island's shops, banks and services are concentrated in the town, so daily errands are easy to run from here.

Several museums are within walking distance of the guesthouse. The Peranakan Museum and Museum Phuket are both 300 m away, and they cover the Peranakan families and the history of the town. The streets of the old town are good for walking, with shophouses, temples and small museums close together. The Phuket Town Local Bus Station is 450 m away, for onward bus journeys.

For a day outside town, Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 7.3 km away and is one of the island's best-known temples. Patong Beach is 10.8 km away for a full day on the sand, and Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport, 27.2 km from the guesthouse. A day out can combine the temple with time on the beach.
