Sirin Samui Boutique Hostel

The rooms at Sirin Samui Boutique Hostel are mostly mixed dormitories with bunk beds or single beds, so solo travellers will find a bed in a shared room. The hostel also has a Superior Double or Twin Room, and the dormitory rooms sleep anywhere from one to nine guests, depending on the room you choose.

The Superior Double or Twin Room measures 16 m² and has a double bed for two guests. Several of the dormitory rooms look onto the garden, air conditioning is part of the equipment in some of them, and the dormitory rooms are shared with other travellers, which is the normal setup for a hostel.

The hostel has an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, plus a bar, a restaurant, a shared kitchen with barbecue facilities and a vending machine. Guests can also use the shared lounge and TV area and the billiards.

Luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, a laundromat and daily housekeeping are available, and a babysitting service is available. Tours can be arranged, and an airport transfer service is available. The hostel is family and child friendly, and families travelling with children can make use of the babysitting service.

Free parking is on site, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, with Wi-Fi also in the public areas. Guests who arrive by car can leave the vehicle in the hostel's on-site parking at no charge.

Choeng Mon is a small village on Koh Samui, made up of local houses, gardens and small guesthouses. Choeng Mon Beach is 950 m from the hostel, so the sea is close at hand, and a day at the beach can be combined with a visit to a temple, since both are nearby. Koh Samui is an island, reached by air or by ferry, and the beaches and temples nearby are all on the island itself, so most of your sightseeing will be done by road.

Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue, is nearby, and the Big Buddha, the large seated Buddha on the island, is a short trip away. The Bangrak beach fish market lies close by too, the Samui Crocodile Farm is also nearby, and Samui Airport is the nearest airport for arrivals.

A day out could combine Wat Plai Laem and the Big Buddha, then continue to the fish market at Bangrak beach in the afternoon. Fisherman's Village is a good place for an evening walk, and Na Muang Waterfall makes a full day trip from the hostel for anyone who wants to see more of the island's interior, with its waterfall set well away from the coast.
