Siri Lanta Resort

The rooms at Siri Lanta Resort all measure 40 m², and several have garden views. Rooms can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, an in-room safe, a kettle, a mini bar and a refrigerator.

The choice runs from a twin room with two single beds to a double room with a choice of bed set-ups and a triple room with a balcony. Cribs can be requested directly from the resort, subject to availability.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, along with a garden, a terrace and a solarium. For meals there is a restaurant, a coffee shop, a snack bar and a bar, with room service and food delivery, and breakfast is offered à la carte, as a buffet or as a takeaway service.

Activities include massage, diving, snorkelling, canoeing and tours, and bicycle rental is also available. Car hire, a shuttle service, a taxi service and an airport transfer are offered, as are luggage storage and laundry service.

For younger guests there is a playground and a children's swimming pool. Free parking is available on site, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, with Wi-Fi in public areas too.

The resort sits in the Phra Ae area, on Long Beach, a long stretch of sand on the shore of Koh Lanta in Krabi province, southern Thailand. The area is a relaxed part of the island where the beach and the water are the main attraction, and the beach lies 690 m from the resort. Phra Ae village is close by, and its small shops and food stalls give the area an everyday island feel.

Around the resort, the Pra Ae Public Health Park, the Khlong Dao Muay Thai Stadium and the Monday Market are all within a few kilometres. Ba-Lai Temple, a Buddhist temple, is 3.2 km away, the Khao Mai Kaew Cave 9.4 km and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a marine park covering islands and coastline, 17.1 km. Bicycle rental and a taxi service are available for getting around, and the resort also offers an airport transfer.

A day could begin on the beach and continue to the national park or to Ba-Lai Temple. Krabi International Airport is 54.5 km away on the mainland, and the crossing to Koh Lanta is by boat, so rough seas in the rainy season can affect the trip. Mu Ko Lanta National Park covers islands as well as coastline, so a visit can include the sea.
