Bangla Road, the street of bars and nightlife, is a short walk from the hotel, and the Jungceylon Shopping Center gives you a large mall with shops and places to eat. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is one of the most revered Buddhist temples on Phuket, and the Big Buddha Phuket is a large white statue on a hilltop. Both sit 6.8 km and 8 km away, so they make a good trip out of Patong.

A good day could start with a morning on Patong Beach, then continue with a visit to Wat Chalong in the afternoon and a stop at the Big Buddha before returning to the guesthouse in the evening, when the night market is at its busiest.
