Ser-en-dip-i-ty Resort

The rooms at Ser-en-dip-i-ty Resort measure between 24 m² and 30 m², and several of them overlook the garden. They include rooms with a king bed, a queen bed, or a single and a queen bed, a standard bungalow, and a double room with a balcony or terrace and its own private entrance.

Several rooms have air conditioning and a walk-in shower, and some have a bathtub, a refrigerator or a desk. Toiletries, towels and a hair dryer are provided in several rooms, and several rooms sleep up to three guests, with the triple room combining a single bed and a queen bed.

The grounds of Ser-en-dip-i-ty Resort include a garden and a solarium, and the resort offers massage with a massage bed and massage chairs, along with a Korean sauna and a hinoki bath.

Guests can arrange tours and take part in canoeing, boating, snorkelling, diving, fishing or hiking. Bicycle rental is available, and bicycle parking is provided as well.

Practical services include free parking on site, an airport transfer, a shuttle service, car hire, laundry and ironing service, luggage storage and daily housekeeping. Shops on site sell souvenirs, clothing and local handicrafts. Ticket services and a postal service are also available, along with express check-in and check-out. Dry cleaning is available too.

Ser-en-dip-i-ty Resort is in the Pra Ae area of Koh Lanta, a long island in Krabi Province that is reached by ferry from the mainland. Long Beach, also known as Pra Ae Beach, is the nearest stretch of sand at 300 m, and a supermarket, the Andaman International clinic and Palm Beach Divers Center are all close to the resort. Krabi International Airport is 54 km away on the mainland.

Klong Dao Beach is 1.1 km away and Khlong Khong Beach 3.5 km, both good for longer walks along the sand. Kantiang Bay is another sandy bay on the island, and Khao Mai Kaew Cave is 10 km from the resort. Lanta Old Town, the island's historic fishing community, is also worth a visit for its traditional character. Getting around the island is easiest with the resort's shuttle service or its bicycle rental.

Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a marine park with forest trails and beaches, is a popular day trip from the island. A full day could combine a morning on Klong Dao Beach with a walk around Lanta Old Town and an afternoon in the national park. During the rainy months the sea can be rough, and boat trips to nearby islands can be cancelled at short notice.
