Sense Asia

Sense Asia's rooms are bungalows, studios and a villa, and air conditioning is fitted in all of them. Sea views and garden views both feature across the rooms, and several bungalows and studios have a private entrance.

The rooms have queen or double beds, and the Villa with Sea View sleeps up to four guests. Private bathrooms with walk-in showers or regular showers, an electric kettle, a hair dryer and a mosquito net are among the in-room equipment. Guests can choose between garden views and sea views, depending on the room they book. Toiletries and towels are provided in the rooms.

Sense Asia's facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and sauna, a fitness centre, a private beach, a bar and a poolside bar. Spa treatments include body scrubs and body wraps, and there is a yoga room.

Guests can play table tennis in the game room or relax in the shared lounge with its TV area. For meals there is breakfast in the room, a breakfast takeaway service, a coffee shop, a snack bar, restaurants and food delivery.

The hotel also has a salon, a laundry service, currency exchange, a garden and a terrace, and tours can be arranged. Air conditioning is also available in the public areas, and facilities for disabled guests are offered.

Haad Yao is a bay on the west side of Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand that belongs to Surat Thani province. Haad Thian Beach is about 50 m from the hotel and Salad Beach around 450 m, both close enough to reach on foot. Visitors come for the sea, the snorkelling spots and the inland waterfalls, so the hotel works as a base for both beach days and trips into the hills.

Inland, the Wang Sai waterfall is 2 km away and the pagoda of Wat Sri Thanu is 2.8 km away. The Phangan Safari zoo and a food market are also nearby, and a coral reef and snorkelling spots are close by, so the sea is never far from the hotel.

Samui Airport on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui is about 28 km away, and Ko Pha-ngan is reached by boat, so the last part of the journey is by sea. Haad Yao's beach is a good place for a morning swim, and the evenings can be spent at the hotel's bar or in its shared lounge with its TV area. For a day out, the Wang Sai waterfall and the Wat Sri Thanu pagoda are good first choices inland.
