Seksub Place

The rooms at Seksub Place range from 10 m² to 26 m², with double and twin set-ups, a Family Room for up to three guests and a 24 m² room with a nature view.

Equipment varies from room to room. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, while others have a refrigerator and free bottled water, and air conditioning, a desk and a shower are found in several of them.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and Wi-Fi is also offered in the public areas. Parking on site is free, and the hotel has a 24-hour front desk and 24-hour room service. Guests can also ask for a wake-up call in the Family Room.

Seksub Place is in the Khlong Suan Plu district of Ayutthaya, the former capital of the Siamese kingdom, a city whose temple ruins are among the best-known sights in Thailand. Several temples lie within a short distance of the hotel, so many of the sights can be reached on foot or by a short ride.

Wat Bot Daeng is 100 m away and Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon 450 m, both close enough for a stroll from the hotel. Further off, Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan, known for its large seated Buddha image, is 1.4 km away, while the Historic City of Ayutthaya, where the ruins of the old capital stand, is 3.7 km away. Wat Mahathat, in the historic area, shows a Buddha head held in the roots of a tree, and Wat Chaiwatthanaram, on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, is also worth a visit. Ayutthaya Train Station is 2 km from the hotel, a practical link for rail travel to and from Bangkok.

One way to spend a day is to start with the temples near the hotel and then cycle or ride a tuk-tuk into the historic park, where most of the ruins are concentrated. Ayothaya Floating Market & Elephant Village, also nearby, offers a different kind of afternoon, and the temples along the way make it easy to combine several sights in one outing.
