Seaboard Bungalow

The rooms at Seaboard Bungalow have garden and sea views, and several come with a balcony or terrace and a bathtub. Most rooms measure 35 m². The Superior Sea View room sleeps up to four guests, and the Beach Front room sleeps up to two guests with a king bed.

Beds range from a king bed on its own to a single bed combined with a king or queen bed. Most rooms have air conditioning, many have toiletries and a shower in the private bathroom, and a few add a dining table, a refrigerator or a coffee or tea maker. Several rooms also have a bathtub, so guests can choose between a shower and a bath.

Seaboard Bungalow has a private beach and a garden, with a restaurant, a bar, room service and a kitchen. Diving, snorkelling and tours can be arranged, and a yoga room, a library and a nightclub are on site, with on-site entertainment as well.

Guests can use a terrace, laundry and dry-cleaning services, and safety deposit boxes, and ticket services are also available. Facilities for disabled guests are available, and the languages spoken include English, French, Italian, Spanish, Thai and Burmese.

Free parking is available on site, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms, with internet services and Wi-Fi in public areas, and the on-site parking is a separate option alongside the free car park.

Haad Yao is a bay on the west coast of Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand that is reached by boat from Ko Samui. The west coast is away from the full moon party beaches on the east side of the island, so it suits a beach stay with a quieter pace, and Haad Yao (West) beach is 150 m from the resort.

Haad Son beach is 500 m away, on the same shore, and is a natural first stop for a swim. Further afield, the Wang Sai waterfall is 2.7 km away, a natural freshwater cascade on the island, and the Phangan Safari, a zoo and safari park, is 3.1 km away.

A good day could start with a swim at Haad Son and continue to the Wang Sai waterfall in the afternoon. Samma Karuna garden, 850 m from the resort, is a further option for a short visit, and the Food Market is a place to eat with local stalls before heading back to the resort. Each of these is a separate outing, so it helps to pick one or two places for the day rather than trying to see them all in a single afternoon, and the beaches are the easiest starting point for an unhurried day on this part of the island.
