The rooms at Sea Sun Sand Resort & Spa come in several types, from a 28 m² Standard Room with a queen bed to 45 m² Deluxe rooms, with city, mountain, sea and pool views depending on the type. Rooms sleep up to three guests, and the Standard Room sleeps two. Air conditioning, a hair dryer, a refrigerator and a coffee and tea maker can be found in the rooms.

Quieter beaches such as Kalim Beach are also within a short distance.

Patong Beach is 250 m away. Bangla Road, the area's main nightlife street, is 1.4 km away, and Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large mall with shops, restaurants and a cinema, is 1.5 km away. Further afield, Wat Chalong, one of the most revered Buddhist temples on the island, is 7.7 km away, and the Big Buddha, a hilltop white statue with views across the island, is 8.8 km away. Phuket International Airport is on the same island and reached by road.

A good day could start on Patong Beach in the morning, then continue to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong in the afternoon. Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park, is also nearby, and the evening can be spent on Bangla Road or in the shopping centre.
