From the resort, the nearest beach is 790 m away, and the Hin Talu viewpoint is 850 m off, with a look out over the coast around the island. The Bot Klang Thale pagoda is 950 m away, and Ao Mae Mai Beach is close by, next to the village of Ao Mae Mai, a small settlement on the island's shore.

Koh Phayam Pier, 1.2 km from the resort, is where boats from the mainland arrive, so it is the point to head for when you leave the island. Diving, fishing and tours can be arranged through the resort, so a boat trip is a natural addition to a day here. A simple day is to visit the Hin Talu viewpoint and the Bot Klang Thale pagoda, then spend the afternoon on the beach.
