Sawadee Aonang Resort

Several rooms at Sawadee Aonang Resort have air conditioning and a balcony or terrace. The Deluxe Cottage measures 30 m² and sleeps up to three guests, the Deluxe Triple has 18 m² for up to three guests, and the Deluxe Double measures 22 m² for up to two.

The Deluxe Room measures 30 m² and sleeps up to five guests, and the Deluxe Triple Room sleeps up to four. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and in the Deluxe Double, blackout curtains and complimentary tea are provided. Ao Nang is a beach town on the Krabi mainland, where limestone cliffs rise above the coast and longtail boats run out to the islands. Its beach road is lined with tour offices, restaurants and massage shops, and it is a common base for island trips. The resort is in the Nopparat Thara area, about 720 m from the beach, and Krabi International Airport is 19.4 km away.

The Wednesday Evening Market is 150 m away, and the Ao Nang Krabi Thai Boxing Stadium, where Muay Thai bouts take place, is a short walk further on. Ao Nang Beach is 1.5 km from the resort, and the Ao Nang Night Market is in the same town. Railay Beach, 4.6 km away, is reached only by longtail boat from Ao Nang, so a trip there depends on the boats running.

A day could start on the beach, then continue by longtail boat to Railay for its limestone cliffs, with the evening spent at the Wednesday Evening Market. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop Buddhist temple complex, is a trip by road rather than by boat. Boat trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough, particularly in the rainy season.
