Save Bungalow

The rooms at Save Bungalow include bungalows and rooms with a fan, a shower, and in several cases a balcony or terrace. A 12 m² room sleeps two guests, a 24 m² bungalow takes up to three, and a 45 m² room has a refrigerator and a flat-screen TV.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and some have a telephone and a socket near the bed. A 40 m² family bungalow takes up to four guests and has a private entrance, a balcony or terrace and a garden view, and the grounds include a garden. Free WiFi is available in all rooms.

Mae Haad is the ferry village on Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand off the coast of Surat Thani province, and it is where the boats from the mainland dock. The village is a working port with dive centres and guesthouses along its streets, and it appeals to divers, snorkellers and anyone who wants a base close to the sea. The village is small enough to explore on foot.

Haad Ao Mae beach is 150 m away, and the Lomprayah Koh Tao pier, where the ferries dock, is a short walk from the property. Haad Sairee, the island's main beach, is 1.7 km away, and Nangyuan Island is 4.5 km away by boat, a popular spot for snorkelling. The nearest airport is Samui Airport (USM), 64.9 km away, and Ko Tao is reached by boat, so the last part of the journey is always by sea.

A good day could start with a snorkelling or diving trip to Nangyuan Island, then move to Haad Sairee for the afternoon. Boat trips to the islets depend on the sea conditions on the day, so it helps to keep the second half of the day flexible. Back in Mae Haad, the dive centres are a short walk away.
