Ko Tao has no bridge, so reaching it means a boat crossing.

Sairee Beach, one of the island's best-known beaches, lies 800 m from the resort, and Jansom Bay is 850 m away. The beach nearest the resort is 40 m away, and Haad Ao Mae, a beach in the village itself, is 150 m away. Koh Nang Yuan, a small island reached by boat, is 4 km from the resort and is a popular destination for day trips.

A good day could begin with a swim at the beach nearby, continue with a snorkelling or diving trip from the pier, and end with a walk around the village of Mae Haad. The garden at the resort is a good place to rest between trips, and the pier is close for boat days. During the rainy months, sea conditions can make boat crossings rougher, so day trips to Koh Nang Yuan may be affected.
