Sarin Guest House

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms at Sarin Guest House. The rooms come in several sizes: a Twin Room and a Double Room of 25 m² each, a Triple Room of 27 m², and a Classic Quadruple Room for up to four guests. Beds include single beds, a king bed, a queen bed and a double bed, so the rooms suit different group sizes.

Several rooms have a garden view. The Deluxe Double Room, the Deluxe Queen Room and the Classic Quadruple Room have air conditioning and a private bathroom. The Double Room Fan offers 20 m² of floor space, and the Bunk Bed - Room - 4 People with Bathroom has a single bed, a garden view and an additional bathroom and toilet.

Luggage storage, daily housekeeping, dry cleaning and laundry are part of the offer, and the guesthouse has a restaurant, a kitchen, a garden and a terrace. Pets are allowed, and English and Thai are spoken, so guests with pets or questions about the island can ask the staff directly at the front desk.

Mae Haad is the port village of Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand that is reached by boat, and the guesthouse sits in the village itself. It is a lively but low-key place, where dive centres, small shops and eateries line the streets near the pier. The guesthouse is within a short walk of both the ferry pier and the beach, so the sea is never far away.

The Rama V Shrine, dedicated to King Chulalongkorn, is 150 m away, and the nearest beach, Haad Ao Mae, is 200 m away. Sairee Beach, one of the island's best-known beaches, is 1,000 m from the guesthouse, and Koh Nang Yuan, a small islet group with a famous viewpoint, lies 4.1 km away. Getting around the village is on foot, and boats from the pier are the way to reach the other islands, such as Koh Nang Yuan.

Snorkelling and diving are the main draws here, with dive centres close to the guesthouse. A good day could start with a swim at Haad Ao Mae, continue to Sairee Beach and end with a boat trip to Koh Nang Yuan, where the viewpoint over the islets is the main attraction.
