K2N Guesthouse

Both rooms at K2N Guesthouse have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle and a dining table. Each one is set up with a king bed, and the bathroom is supplied with toiletries and towels.

The Superior room measures 32 m² and sleeps up to two guests. The Double Room measures 16 m² and also sleeps up to two. A hair dryer is provided in both rooms, and the socket near the bed makes it easy to charge phones.

Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, and internet services and Wi-Fi in the public areas are also available. Air conditioning runs in the public areas as well as in the rooms, and the property is smoke-free.

Mae Haad is the ferry port area of Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand off the coast of Surat Thani Province. The streets around the pier are lined with dive shops, small shops and massage places, giving the village the easy pace of an island port. It is a practical base for travellers who want to be close to the boats and to the sea at the same time.

The beach nearest the guesthouse, 310 m away, is one of several small bays around the village. Sairee Beach, the island's best-known stretch of sand, lies along the coast nearby, and Jansom Bay is 1.1 km away. Koh Nang Yuan, a group of small islets off the coast and a popular snorkelling and diving spot, is 4 km away by boat. The Rama V Shrine, dedicated to King Chulalongkorn, stands close to the village, and the Welcome to Koh Tao Turtle Monument is a short walk from the guesthouse.

A good day starts with a walk along the coast to Sairee Beach, then a swim at Jansom Bay or a boat trip out to Koh Nang Yuan. Getting around Ko Tao is on foot, by scooter or by boat, and the guesthouse has a car park for guests who arrive on the island by road.
