Sand Sea Resort

Sand Sea Resort offers tropical villas, deluxe bungalows and suite cottages, and every room has a garden view. The rooms come with bathrobes, toiletries and hair dryers, and rooms can have a balcony or terrace, a refrigerator and an in-room safe box.

The rooms measure between 35 and 60 m², most sleep up to three guests, and the Deluxe Bungalow Garden View sleeps two. Air conditioning and blackout curtains feature in some of the rooms. Families are welcome: children aged 2 to 4 stay free using the existing bedding, and a baby cot is available at no additional charge for children aged 0 to 4.

Sand Sea Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a fitness center and a garden on site. There is a restaurant serving lunch, dinner and a la carte dishes, with halal and international cuisine on the menu, as well as a coffee shop and room service.

For time on the water, the resort offers watersport equipment rentals, snorkelling, canoeing and non-motorised water sports, along with tours. An airport transfer and a shuttle service are also available.

Practical services include laundry service, daily housekeeping, a convenience store, a gift and souvenir shop and meeting and banquet facilities. The property is wheelchair accessible, and kids meals are available for younger guests.

Railay is a limestone peninsula on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, reached by boat from Ao Nang. Its beaches sit between tall limestone cliffs, and several climbing schools operate nearby, which is why the area is known for rock climbing.

Railay Beach is 50 m from the resort, and Phra Nang Cave, about 750 m away, is a cave with a shrine set among the limestone rock. Ao Nang Beach, 2.1 km away, is the long beach of the resort town of Ao Nang, which has the shops and restaurants for an evening out. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is a cave temple near Krabi town, and Krabi International Airport is 18.5 km from the resort, with the last part of the trip by boat.

A typical day could start with a swim at Railay Beach, then a walk to Phra Nang Cave and the cliffs, where climbing schools run sessions for beginners and experienced climbers. In the afternoon a longtail boat from Railay or Ao Nang can take you to Poda Island or Tup Island. Ao Nang, where the restaurants and shops are, is a short boat ride away, so the evening can be spent in town after a day on the water.
