Sanctuary Lanta's rooms are bungalows and standard rooms, with partial sea views and garden views to choose from. All of them are on Koh Lanta itself, so every outing stays within the island and its own coastline. Khao Mai Kaew Cave, 8.4 km away, is one of the island's natural sights, and Lanta Old Town, a historic settlement on the island, is also worth a visit.

Mu Ko Lanta National Park is 16.1 km away, and a day trip there makes a full day out on the island. Boat trips to nearby islands depend on the sea, which can be rougher during the rainy season, so the island's pace of life shapes how much you can plan in advance.
