Ko Lipe is a small island in the Andaman Sea, reached by boat rather than by bridge, and its village and beaches sit close together. The island's village, Ban Ko Li Pe, is a short stroll from San Pita Resort. Life here revolves around the water, with diving and snorkelling close at hand, and the pace is easy-going.
Sunrise Beach is 300 m away, and Karma Beach and Sunset Beach lie a little further along the shore. The Koh Lipe Ferry Terminal is 550 m from the resort, and it is where boats from the mainland arrive. Trang Airport is 118.6 km away on the mainland, so the last stage of any trip is by boat. Koh Adang lies 5.8 km off, and View Point 3 is 2.7 km away. Koh Sawang and Koh Hin Son lie further out at sea, beyond the nearer islands.
