Accommodation at Samui Tonggad Resort includes garden-view villas, a Deluxe Double, a Standard Room, a Basic Suite, a Beach Front room with an ocean view and a holiday home. Every room has a shower, and several have a balcony or terrace. The Beach Front room has a bathtub, and both villas have a seating area.

Garden views are offered in several rooms, and the Beach Front room has an ocean view. Beds include single, double and king beds, and some rooms sleep up to four guests, with air conditioning in several of the rooms. The Basic Suite measures 23 m², and the 2 Bedroom Villa measures 60 m².

Lamai is one of the main beach areas of Koh Samui, Thailand, and Samui Tonggad Resort is on its shoreline, with Lamai Beach 50 m away. The area is built around the sand, with restaurants and shops along the roads that run back from the beach. Lamai is a practical base for a beach stay on the island, and the resort's private beach adds a stretch of sand of its own, so a day on the shore needs no trip further afield.

Hin Ta & Hin Yai, the rock formations known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, are 3.6 km away, and Na Muang Waterfall is 8.5 km away in the island's interior. Big Buddha, a large statue at a temple, is 11.2 km away, and Chaweng Noi Beach lies on the Chaweng side of the island. Samui Airport is 8.7 km away, and the island is reached by air or by ferry, so the airport is the first step for most arrivals.

A good day out is to visit the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks and then continue to the Lamai Night Market in the evening. Na Muang Waterfall suits a half-day trip into the island's interior, and Big Buddha makes a good stop for a visit to a temple complex.
