Samui Jasmine Resort

Rooms at Samui Jasmine Resort overlook the sea or the garden, and some of them are villas with a jacuzzi. The Deluxe Sea View and the Deluxe Garden View each measure 40 m², and the Deluxe Villa (Jacuzzi) measures 46 m² with a whirlpool bathtub and open air bath privileges. Rooms can have air conditioning, and a baby cot can be requested.

The Deluxe Villa with Jacuzzi measures 45 m² and sleeps up to five guests. Where there is a private bathroom, it comes with a bathtub, a hair dryer and bathrobes. The Deluxe Sea View and the Deluxe Garden View both sleep up to three guests.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor one, plus a children's swimming pool, a spa with sauna, a hot tub and massage treatments. A poolside bar and restaurants serve food and drinks, room service is offered, and a buffet breakfast is available.

There is a private beach, a garden and a terrace, and a BBQ area and a shared kitchen are available for guests. Tours can be arranged, and there is car hire, a shuttle service and an airport transfer.

Lamai is a long, lively beach on Koh Samui, lined with resorts, small restaurants and shops along the road that runs behind the sand. It is a good choice for travellers who want a beach holiday with plenty to do close by, rather than a quiet, secluded bay. Walking along the sand and the road is the easiest way to see the area.

The Lamai Night Market, a short walk from the beach, comes alive in the evenings with food stalls and local goods. Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks, known as Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks, are about 1.9 km away, and the Na Muang Waterfall, set in the hills, is 6.3 km away. The Big Buddha is 11.6 km away, and Samui Airport is 9.2 km away. For longer trips around the island, a taxi or a motorbike is the usual way to get about.

A day could begin on the beach, continue with a visit to the Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks, and end at the night market with street food. The resort's own private beach and the public sand of Lamai Beach, a short walk away, make it easy to spend the morning in the sea before heading out for the afternoon.
