Samui Honey Suite

The rooms at Samui Honey Suite run from studios to suites and a two-bedroom villa, and several look out over the garden. Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, a flat-screen TV, satellite or cable channels, a telephone, a coffee and tea maker and a hair dryer. Some studios also have a kitchen with a microwave and a refrigerator, and a balcony or terrace.

The garden-view suites measure 135 m², and the studio room with two single beds measures 47 m². Free WiFi is available in all rooms. All the rooms share the resort's grounds, and guests can also use the restaurant, the bar, the garden and both swimming pools.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a garden, a playground, billiards and a salon. Massage treatments are offered, there are shops on site, and valet parking is also available.

Dining options are a restaurant, a bar, a poolside bar, BBQ facilities and 24-hour room service, and alternative meal arrangements are also offered.

Samui Honey Suite is in the Choengmon area of Koh Samui, a stretch of coast where fishing villages, temples and small beaches sit close together. Local life here revolves around the sea, with a fish market and a ferry pier within a few kilometres of the resort. The hotel's own village, Baan Plai Laem, gives the neighbourhood its name, and the sea is never far from the daily routine of the streets around it.

Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue set in a lake, is 450 m away, and the Big Buddha, the large seated Buddha on the hill above Big Buddha Beach, is 1.1 km away. Thongson Beach, the nearest beach, is 1.6 km from the resort, and Samui Airport (USM) is 2.9 km away, so flights to the island land within a short distance of the hotel.

A good day could start at Wat Plai Laem, continue at the Big Buddha and end on Thongson Beach. The Fisherman's Village Bophut Walking Street, a lane of shops and cafés, makes an easy evening outing from the area. For a day further afield, Na Muang Waterfall lies inland on the island and makes a good day trip.
