Samui Beach Resort

Samui Beach Resort has several room types, from Standard rooms and Classic and Modern Bungalows to a Beachfront Deluxe with a sea view, a family house and a villa. Rooms can have air conditioning, a shower, a refrigerator and a balcony or terrace, and some have a garden view or a sea view.

The Beachfront Deluxe measures 30 m² and has a double bed, the Standard room is 26 m² and the Classic Bungalow 28 m², and the Modern Bungalow measures 30 m². Rooms sleep from two to four guests. The Classic Bungalow has a seating area and an in-room safe box. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, and a poolside bar. For relaxation there is a spa, a sauna and a massage service, and a fitness centre is on site.

The beach is part of the stay: the resort has a private beach and a beachfront position, and guests can go snorkelling or take part in motorised and non-motorised water sports. Fishing is also offered.

Other services include restaurants, a coffee shop and BBQ facilities, daily housekeeping, laundry service, luggage storage and safety deposit boxes. Tours can be arranged, and there is an airport transfer, a shuttle service, car hire and a taxi service. Free parking is available on site, and there is a garden and facilities for disabled guests.

Lamai is a long, sandy bay on Koh Samui, and Samui Beach Resort sits close to the water, with Lamai Beach just 50 m away. The Hin Ta and Hin Yai rock formations, known as Grandfather's and Grandmother's Rocks, are 300 m from the resort and are one of the bay's best-known sights. Its beach road has street-food stalls and small shops, which keeps the evenings lively and the bay easy to explore on foot.

Koh Samui is an island, and Samui Airport is on it, 10.7 km away, so the resort offers an airport transfer. Other sights are a little further: Na Muang Waterfall is 5.8 km away, and the Big Buddha temple is 13.1 km away. The Lamai Night Market is also nearby. The Big Buddha is the furthest of these sights, so it is best kept for a separate trip, while the viewpoint is close enough to fit into an evening walk.

A good day could begin at the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks, continue with a walk to the Lamai Viewpoint, and end with a swim at Lamai Beach. For diving, Thai Scuba Dive and the Lamai Scuba Diving Center are both nearby. Divers can take in one of these dive centres, and guests who prefer to stay closer to home have the pools, the spa and the private beach on site.
