Samui Beach Hostel

Dormitory rooms with bunk beds, in female, male and mixed versions, sit alongside a Deluxe room with a queen bed for up to two guests. Some of the dormitory rooms measure 30 m², and the bunk beds are set up for one guest each, with air conditioning and a private bathroom in some of them.

Rooms with a city view include the Deluxe room, which also has a separate shower/bathtub. Blackout curtains and air conditioning come in several of the rooms, and Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, with Wi-Fi in the public areas too. The hostel's shared areas are open to all guests, whichever room they book.

The outdoor swimming pool sits alongside a poolside bar, and the grounds include a garden and a terrace where guests can sit outdoors.

A 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping, safety deposit boxes, a convenience store and a salon are on the property, along with a doctor or nurse on call. Guests can use a shared lounge and TV area and a shared kitchen, and the 24-hour front desk is open around the clock.

The hostel also has a nightclub and on-site entertainment, a breakfast takeaway service, a happy hour and food delivery. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is Wi-Fi in the public areas too, so the common spaces are connected as well.

Chaweng is the main resort area of Koh Samui, a long sandy beach with a lively street life along the beach road, where shops, bars and small hotels sit close together. Samui Beach Hostel is set in this part of the island, about 550 m from Chaweng Yai Beach, so the sand, the evening activity and the nearby shops are close to the hostel, and the beach road runs through the middle of the resort.

Central Festival Samui is 250 m from the hostel, and the Walking Street and the night market are nearby. Samui Airport (USM) is 1.7 km away, so arriving by air is straightforward. Songthaews and taxis are the usual way to get around the island, and the Big Buddha, on its hilltop, is 4.2 km away.

A day could combine a swim at Chaweng Yai Beach with a stroll along the Walking Street in the evening, then a visit to the Big Buddha. The Samui Elephant Sanctuary in Bophut, 3.4 km away, can fill a half-day, and the Walking Street offers a lively end to the day. Chaweng Noi Beach and Lamai Beach are both further along the coast, for guests who want to explore beyond Chaweng.
