Samui Bayview Resort & Spa

The rooms at Samui Bayview Resort & Spa include garden-view rooms, sea-view rooms, a mountain-view studio and suites for couples or larger groups. Rooms can have bathrobes, a hair dryer, an electric kettle, Wi-Fi and, in some cases, a whirlpool bathtub, and several are equipped with a private bathroom.

Larger groups can book the Grand Quadruple Room, which sleeps up to eight guests and has a sea view, or the Family Room with Sea View, which sleeps up to four guests. The Standard Room, at 27 m², has a garden view and a whirlpool bathtub, and the Deluxe Sea View measures 42 m² and sleeps up to two guests. The Honeymoon Suite measures 75 m² and has a sea view and a bathtub. The SUITE HONEYMOON SUITE sleeps up to nine guests.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a hot tub, a spa and sauna, a steam room, massage and a fitness centre.

Dining includes restaurants, a coffee shop, a snack bar and room service, and Asian and buffet breakfast are offered. Free parking is available on site, and valet parking is offered as well.

For getting around, the resort offers an airport transfer and a shuttle service, and car hire and tours can be arranged. Families can use a playground and a family room, and the grounds have a garden and a terrace. Billiards and table tennis can be played on site too.

Chaweng Noi is a village area on Koh Samui, the island in the Gulf of Thailand, with a beach close to the resort and a mix of small hotels, local shops and open-air restaurants along the roads. Koh Samui is an island, so the journey here ends by air or ferry, and the roads link the beaches and villages around the coast.

Chaweng Noi Beach is 450 m from the resort, and Lamai Beach, 2.8 km away, has a night market of its own. The Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hill, is 8.2 km away, and the rock formations of Hin Ta and Hin Yai, known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, are 5.4 km away. Samui Airport is 5.7 km away, and the resort offers an airport transfer. Further along the coast are Chaweng Yai Beach and Nora Beach, and Wat Chaweng, a Buddhist temple, is also nearby, with the Valentine Stone and the Koko gallery in the same part of the island.

A day out could combine the Na Muang Waterfall with a stop at Fisherman's Village, a waterfront village of cafés and shops in Bo Phut, and a visit to Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue.
