Salisa Resort

Salisa Resort's rooms look onto gardens or, in some cases, onto a partial view of the sea, and most sleep up to three guests. A few rooms have air conditioning, and the private bathrooms have a shower, some with a separate shower/bathtub. Electric kettles, hair dryers, flat-screen TVs and satellite or cable channels are common in the rooms.

Across the resort, rooms can have a refrigerator, a balcony or terrace, linens and a window, and non-smoking rooms are available. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Rooms with a garden view overlook the resort's greenery, and the sea is in view from the rooms with a partial sea view.

Dining at Salisa Resort includes a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop and BBQ facilities, with an Asian breakfast on the menu and room service available. Guests can also use a shared kitchen. For relaxation, the resort has a spa and sauna, massage treatments, a solarium, a garden and a terrace.

On the water, the resort offers diving, snorkelling, canoeing, fishing and non-motorised water sports, and tours can be arranged. Practical services include a shuttle service, an airport transfer, laundry, daily housekeeping, concierge service and an elevator.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. On site there are shops, and the resort has a shared lounge and TV area for guests.

Sunrise Beach is one of the main beach areas of Ko Lipe, a small island in Satun province in the Andaman Sea, within the Tarutao National Marine Park. The beach is lined with small resorts, bars and dive shops, and the mood is relaxed, with the sea and the sand at the centre of daily life. Because Ko Lipe has no airport, the island is reached by boat, and that slow arrival sets the pace for the stay.

The island's sights are close together. Hantalay Temple, a pagoda in the village, is about 700 m away, and the Masjid el Marhamah mosque is also in the village area. Karma Beach is a short walk from the resort, and Koh Lipe Ferry Terminal, about 800 m away, is where boats arrive from the mainland and from the nearby islands. Walking Street, the lane of bars and restaurants, is also close by.

A full day can start with a boat trip to Koh Adang, 5.9 km away, a neighbouring island where diving and snorkelling are popular, and boat trips to the nearby islands are a common way to spend a day. Back on the island, Sunrise Beach offers a shady afternoon by the sea, and the walk to Hantalay Temple takes you through the village.
