Salad Beach

Rooms at Salad Beach can have air conditioning, a desk, an in-room safe and a refrigerator. Some look out over the garden, others over the pool. The Superior Beach Front Bungalow measures 45 m² and has a king bed and a beach view, for up to two guests.

The Superior Double or Twin Room with Garden View measures 32 m² and sleeps up to four guests, with air conditioning and linens. The Superior Pool View Bungalow sleeps up to three guests with a pool view, and the Superior Seaside Room and the Superior Main Building Room also sleep up to three guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Salad Beach has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a spa, a sauna and massage treatments. There is a private beach, restaurants, a bar, a coffee shop and room service, and buffet and continental breakfast are offered.

Tours can be arranged, and diving, snorkelling, canoeing, fishing, hiking and water sports (non-motorised) are available, with bicycles for getting around. There is an airport transfer, car hire, a shuttle service and a taxi service, and free parking is available on site. A playground, a babysitting service and a laundry service are also offered for families and guests who need them. Facilities for disabled guests are available, and the grounds include a garden.

Haad Salad is a bay on Ko Pha-ngan, the island in the Gulf of Thailand known for its beaches and its full moon parties. The hotel sits on the bay itself, and Haad Salad beach is 250 m away, so swimming and diving are close to the rooms.

Wang Sai waterfall is 1 km away, and Wat Chaloklum, a temple on the shores of Chaloklum bay, is 3.4 km away. Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, one of the best-known beaches on the island, is another day out. Ko Pha-ngan has no bridge to Ko Samui, so Samui Airport, 28.2 km away on Ko Samui, is the nearest airport and the last leg to the island is by ferry.

A good day could combine a swim at Haad Salad beach with snorkelling at the spot 1.5 km away, then an evening walk through the local food market. The Phangan Safari zoo is also nearby. For a slower pace, the bay itself is enough for a full day on the sand and in the water, and Haad Salad is quieter than the island's better-known party beaches. Tours and diving can be arranged through the hotel, so the sea is never far from the day's plans.
