SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort offers villas and suites, most of them with a pool view or a garden view. The Garden Pool Villa measures 158 m² and the Sala Pool Villa 157 m², and both look out over the garden. The Deluxe Balcony, also with garden views, measures 63 m²; the villas and suites with pool views overlook the swimming pool.

The resort has a private beach, with Sai Kaew Beach 100 m away and Mai Khao Beach 150 m away. The villages of Ban Suanma Prao and Ban Yid are close by, and the rest of the coast here is quieter than the resort strips further south.

Phuket International Airport is 5.3 km away, and the Ni Yang Night Market is a good place for an evening out with local food stalls. Naiyang national Park is 6.2 km from the resort, and the Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation is 950 m away, a conservation project for the sea turtles that nest along this coast. Patong, the island's main nightlife area, is much farther away and best reached by car or taxi.

A good day could start at the Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation, continue along the Tha Chat Chai mangrove forest trail and end with a swim at the resort's private beach. For a longer day out, the Big Buddha lies further afield, and the Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is one of the island's best-known temples, while Patong offers the busier side of Phuket's coast.
