SAii Phi Phi Island Village is on Loh Ba Gao, one of the bays of Ko Phi Phi, an island in the Andaman Sea that is reached by boat from Krabi and Phuket. The resort is a short distance from the village of Tonsai, where the public ferries from the mainland arrive at the pier, and the coast here is a series of small bays with limestone cliffs rising behind them.

Loh Ba Gao Bay is 150 m from the resort, and Laem Tong Beach lies 1.5 km away. The Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint, 1.8 km away, looks out over the bays and limestone cliffs of the island. Monkey Beach, where macaques live along the shore, is 4.1 km away, and Ao Maya, the bay on Phi Phi Leh where The Beach was filmed, is 9 km away and reached only by boat.

A day out could combine the viewpoint with a boat trip to Ao Maya and a stop at Bamboo Island, known as Koh Phai, for swimming and snorkelling. Boat trips depend on the sea conditions, which can be rougher in the rainy season, and the island's shops are in the Ton Sai shopping area.
