The Chao Praya River is 100 m from the guesthouse, and Ayutthaya Train Station is 150 m away. Wat Mahathat, 1.5 km away, is known for a Buddha head set in the roots of a tree, while Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, a former royal temple, sits within the Historic City of Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site 2.3 km from the guesthouse. The Ayothaya Floating Market & Elephant Village is 1.3 km away and makes a stop for a day out. The river is also a good place for an evening walk.

A practical day is to take a bicycle from the guesthouse, which offers bicycle rental, and ride to Wat Mahathat and the Historic City, then return to the riverside pier in the late afternoon and watch the boats on the Chao Praya. The Historic City is a further stop for the same day.
