Walking is the simplest way to move around the beach area, and the sea is never far from the streets.

Ao Nang Beach is about 700 m from the hotel, and the Ao Nang Beach Pier serves the boats that run to the nearby islands and beaches. Longtail boats also leave for Railay Beach, 2.3 km away, a peninsula of limestone cliffs and beaches that is reached by boat. Phai Plong Beach lies further along the coast for a different stretch of sand, and Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 14.6 km away, is a hillside temple reached by a long staircase.

Boat trips are the usual way to reach the islands from here, and the sea can be rough in the rainy season, which may affect sailings. For an evening outing, the Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market has food stalls and shopping, and a day can combine a swim at Ao Nang Beach with a boat trip to Railay.
