For a wider view, Sairee Viewpoint, 1.4 km away, looks over the beach and across to Koh Nang Yuan, a group of islets reached by boat and popular with snorkellers, 2.7 km away. Ko Tao has no airport, so Samui Airport, 66.2 km away on Koh Samui, is reached by boat and then by road.

A good day might begin with a snorkel or a dive from Sairee Beach, followed by a walk up to the viewpoint in the afternoon.
