Ruen Narisra Resort

The resort's rooms include standard rooms with a garden view, a 30 m² room sleeping up to five guests, and a 40 m² connecting room with a city view. Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom, a sofa and a seating area, a refrigerator, a desk and a balcony or terrace.

The 24 m² standard rooms come with a private bathroom with a bathtub, toiletries and towels, and a flat-screen TV. One of them has two single beds and the other a king bed, and both sleep up to two guests.

Ruen Narisra Resort is in Sukhothai, a provincial town in central Thailand best known for the ruins of the old capital of the Sukhothai kingdom, which flourished from the 13th century. The resort stands on Jarodvitythong Road, with gardens on its grounds and rooms that overlook them, and the town's old capital is the main reason visitors come here.

The Sukhothai Historical Park is 4.5 km from the resort, and its temples are the main reason to visit the town. Wat Chang Lom, 2.8 km away, is known for its chedi ringed by stone elephants. Wat Maha That, one of the most important temples of the park, is known for a Buddha head entwined in tree roots. Wat Si Sawai has Khmer-style towers, and Wat Sri Chum is famous for its large seated Buddha.

Bicycle rental is offered on site, which is handy for short trips to the nearby temples. Visitors who enjoy museums can see artefacts from the Sukhothai period at the Ramkhamhaeng National Museum, which is close to the historical park. A good day could start at the historical park and the temples nearby, and end at the Saturday Night Market in the old town, a busy evening market where many visitors spend the evening after sightseeing.
