Happiness Resort

Several of the rooms at Happiness Resort are bungalows, and they look out on nature, garden or mountain views. Bed set-ups vary by room, from a king bed to two single beds, or a single bed with a super king bed. Several rooms have a private bathroom with a bathtub and a walk-in shower, along with a hair dryer, toiletries and towels.

The Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies about 1.5 km from the hotel, and many of its monuments sit close together inside the park, so the main sites can be seen in a single visit. The park covers ruins, temples and monuments from the 13th to 15th centuries.

The temples are the main sights around the hotel. The ruins of Wat Phrong Men are right next to Happiness Resort, and Wat Asokaram is also close by. Wat Sri Sawai, a Khmer-style temple with three towers, is about 1.4 km away, and Wat Maha That, known for its Buddha head set among tree roots, is 1.5 km from the hotel. The Saturday night market in the old town is 1.1 km away, and it makes a good place to end a day of sightseeing.

A good day starts at the Historical Park and continues by bicycle to the temples nearby, ending at the Saturday night market. Bicycles and bicycle rental are available at the hotel, and the sites can be combined in one day. Sukhothai Airport is 27.5 km away, and the hotel offers an airport transfer.
