The rooms include 20 m² standard and double rooms and a 30 m² double room with a balcony that sleeps up to four guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and rooms can have air conditioning, a shower, a refrigerator and a balcony or terrace.

Ruan Mai San Ngam Resort sits about 850 m from Nai Yang Beach, the sandy shoreline that gives the area its character, and Phuket International Airport is only 3.2 km away, so arrivals by air reach the area without a ferry.

Sirinat National Park, 950 m away, protects this part of the coast, including the beach where sea turtles nest, so the shoreline here feels more natural than the busier beaches further south. Patong Beach, 19.5 km away, is the island's livelier resort town, with bars and nightlife, while Big Buddha Phuket, 28.4 km away, is a large statue on a hilltop with wide views over the island. Phuket International Airport is the main air gateway to the island, and it is also the closest airport to the resort.

A good day out could combine the beach at Naiyang with a visit to Wat Chalong, the Chaithararam Temple, which is one of the most revered temples on the island, and the Big Buddha. Hired cars are available through the resort, and all of these sights are reached by road from the resort's stretch of coast.
