The rooms at Royal Prince Residence run from 43 m² to 180 m². A 180 m² five-bedroom house sleeps up to 16 guests, and a 180 m² villa with a garden has a pool view and room for up to 11.

Several of the rooms are duplexes, and two of them include a kitchen. The 90 m² two-bedroom townhouse and the 73 m² duplex with a kitchen both sleep up to eight guests, while the 43 m² rooms and the 63 m² duplex sleep five.

Life here runs late, with food stalls, massage shops and bars along the streets behind the sand, and the evening crowds fill the beach road until well after dark.

Bangla Road, the lively street of bars and clubs, is 750 m away, and Patong Beach is 950 m away. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple, better known as Wat Chalong, is Phuket's most revered Buddhist temple complex, 6.1 km from the property. Phuket International Airport is 24.5 km away, and the journey from the airport to the hotel is by road. The hotel's own pool and garden are useful for a rest between outings.

A good day could start at Wat Chalong, continue to the Big Buddha on Nakkerd Hills for views over the island, and end back on the beach road with dinner. For a quieter afternoon, Freedom Beach is worth a visit, and Phuket FantaSea, a theme park with a large cultural show, works well for the evening.
