Royal Beach Boutique Resort and Spa

The rooms at Royal Beach Boutique Resort and Spa include bungalows and suites, several of them with a sea view and some with a pool view. Some suites sleep up to six guests, and the bathrooms in several rooms have a bathtub or a whirlpool bathtub. Rooms can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a mini bar, a desk, an in-room safe box, bathrobes, a hair dryer and a balcony or terrace, depending on the room.

Baby cots are available on request, and extra beds depend on the room you choose. One bungalow suite has an additional living and dining area, and the two-bedroom suites sleep up to six guests each, with a king bed and several single or double beds across the rooms.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's pool, as well as a private beach. Watersport equipment rentals, canoeing, diving, snorkelling and fishing are offered.

Lamai is a stretch of Koh Samui's coast with a sandy beach, a beach road lined with small resorts, restaurants and shops, and a relaxed pace along the sea. Royal Beach Boutique Resort and Spa sits in this part of Lamai, with Rocky's Beach 150 m away and Lamai Beach 650 m away, so the sea is a short walk from the resort. Days here can be spent on the sand, in the water or by the resort's pools.

Several places of interest are close by. The Hin Ta & Hin Yai Rocks, two rock formations known for their shapes, are a few hundred metres from the resort, and Wat Sila Ngu temple is nearby. Further afield, Na Muang Waterfall is 5.3 km away and the Big Buddha, a large statue of Buddha, is 13.6 km away. The Lamai Night Market is also in the area.

A good day combines a swim at Lamai Beach with a visit to the waterfall or the Big Buddha. Samui Airport is 11.3 km from the resort, on the same island, so arriving by air keeps the journey short. The beach is within walking distance, while the waterfall and the Big Buddha are best reached by road.
