Rose Garden Hotel

The rooms at Rose Garden Hotel vary in size and set-up, from a 19 m² room with a city view to rooms sleeping up to four guests and one that sleeps up to eleven. Around the hotel the streets are local in character, with small temples and a hospital within a short walk.

Wat Phra Yattikaram, a temple 300 m from the hotel, is the nearest sight, and the Ayothaya Floating Market & Elephant Village is 1.3 km away. Further on, Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon has a large chedi, Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan is a riverside temple with a large seated Buddha, and Wat Mahathat is known for its Buddha head set among tree roots. The Ayutthaya Train Station is 2.3 km away and has trains from Bangkok, while Don Mueang International Airport is 49.1 km away.

A full day can start in the historic park, where Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, Wat Mahathat and Wat Chaiwatthanaram are all within the same park. Wat Chaiwatthanaram, with its Khmer-style prang, stands on the banks of the Chao Phraya river, and Wat Phanan Choeng on the same river makes a good stop before or after. The floating market and elephant village make a lighter afternoon, closer to the hotel.
