Wat Sila Ngu Temple is 200 m away, and the Hin Ta & Hin Yai rocks, known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, are a short walk along the coast. Lamai Viewpoint and the Overlap Stone are close by. Samui Airport is 11.4 km away and lies on the island itself, so the journey to the resort stays on Koh Samui. A taxi service and car hire are also offered, and Central Festival Samui shopping centre is 9.6 km away. Further round the island, the Big Buddha and Fisherman's Village are also worth a trip.

A good day here could start at the temple and the rock formations, continue with a swim at Lamai Beach, and end at the Lamai Night Market, 2.6 km away, with food stalls and local goods in the evening.
